Euro-mediterranean relations and agricultural liberalisation

A scientific work resulting from a research seminar held on the 27 and 28 of May 1999 at the MMSH on the initiative of the GRERBAM International Association (Research Group on the Regional Economies of the Mediterranean Basin) and in collaboration with the INRA and the GDRI-CNRS EMMA (Economie Méditerranée Monde Arabe).
The book outlines an assessment of Maghrebian agriculture between structural adjustment and trade liberalisation. It explains, through the examples of Spain and Morocco, Euro-Mediterranean agricultural competition, and finally paints a portrait of the Maghreb in the face of the liberalisation of agricultural trade.
