Two Memoranda of Understanding were signed with two important entities in the fields of Culture and Tourism and the olive oil sector of Turkey.
Their signature confirms the will of the two institutions’ leaders to cooperate in order to promote the cultural heritage of the olive tree in their region through the creation of a local cultural route and the selection of points of interest linked to the olive tree and its traditions.
It is noted that the cooperation was initiated thanks to the intervention of the TGA (Tourism Promotion and Development Agency of Turkey) which is carrying out important work to enhance cultural tourism in the country and encourages the development of cultural routes along the coastal zone with proposals entitled ‘’Chasing the way of Olive Tree through Turkaegean’’.
