A few months ago, the ”Routes of the Olive Tree” acquired a composter (the 3rd in a row) which was placed in the garden surrounding our offices in Kalamata.
The composter was placed following the request of our Foundation at RE-THINK KOIN.S.EP, NETWORK OF COMMUNITY COMPOSTING (www.rethink-project.gr ) and on this occasion, an on-site training was carried out for the residents and our partners.
The RE-THINK wooden composter is made of local leaves and can absorb up to 17 tons of organic material per year. It produces rich active soil for domestic and district use.
