10th Panhellenic Olive Oil and Table Olive Festival of Kalamata under the auspices of the Cultural Foundation ” Routes of the Olive Tree”

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024, the “10th Panhellenic Olive Oil and Table Olive Festival of Kalamata” will take place in Kalamata (at the Elysian Luxury Hotel), an initiative of the Agricultural Cooperative of Kalamata that has been established as one of the most important events on olive growing / olive oil production in Greece.

Very important scientists, academics and experts from different regions will intervene on the present and future of olive growing and beyond. In addition, innovative products of new technology from companies active in the field of agriculture will be presented and the Agricultural Cooperative of Kalamata will present the scientific and ecological programs it participates in.

At the same time, the 1st Agroeconomic Forum will be held on the subject of oranges, potatoes and olive oil with meetings between producers and their respective companies for the best possible outcome.

At the end of the activities, an olive oil contest will be held where the tasting committee of the competing olive oils will be composed of olive oil tasters, producers, visitors and representatives of institutions – SMEs.

The “10th Panhellenic Olive Oil and Table Olive Festival of Kalamata” is organized under the auspices of the Cultural Foundation “Routes of the Olive Tree” and the “Mediterranean Olive Oil Cities Network RECOMED“.
