CROSSDEV’s final event, “Discovering Hidden Mediterranean Destinations,”, successfully took place on May 17th and 18th, 2023, at the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve in Lebanon, one of the five destinations developed by the project.
Jointly organized by CISP (the project lead) and APJM- Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (the local partner), the event reunited all partners, including representatives of the European Union and the Lebanese and Italian governments, international tour operators, civil society organizations, and members of the Lebanese local community—all actors that have been involved in the development of the project since day one and actively contributed to its success and wonderful achievements.
OTRoutes Foundation actively participated, with the attendance and presentation of the Head of Planning and Development Department of the Foundation, Dr. Marinella Katsilieri, where the OTRoutes Foundation and its activities were presented.
The very interesting 2-days event included below activities:
- Grand opening of the Jabal Moussa information center
- Project’s results presentation with video, handbook, and the brand-new platform
- B2B with international tourism stakeholders
- Workshop for capitalisation
- Group hike on the meditation trail
- Press conference
- Traditional handicrafts stalls
