On the occasion of World Olive Day, many and diverse events were organised by members of the OTRoutes ” Routes of the Olive Tree ” network in 7 different countries: Spain, Türkiye, Slovenia, France, Portugal, Lebanon and Greece.
Olive oil tastings, workshops/open discussions on the olive, olive oil and the olive sector in general, olive tree themed book presentations, visits to traditional olive mills and olive landscapes, cooking contests involving olive oil, as well as the opening of an olive museum in Lebanon, all these events were held on the occasion of this celebration, with great public participation.
