The Cultural Foundation “Routes of the Olive Tree” in the framework of its cooperation with the Coordinamento Nazionale Comunità di Accoglienza – CNCA (Italy) and PALMI Koin.Sep Social Cooperative Enterprises (Greece) will provide for the next 11 months know-how and logistical infrastructure at its headquarters to 4 European volunteers who started their mission in Messinia a few days ago.
The first information workshop was successfully held on Friday 14 October, in the presence of representatives of the partner organisations. The aim of the mission of the young volunteers is to employ and train them in different sectors, such as cultural and rural tourism, in order to address difficulties and marginalisation.
The Coordinamento Nazionale Comunità di Accoglienza (CNCA), the National Coordinator of Hospitality Communities in Italy, is a social benefit association which includes 16 regional federations involving around 250 organisations in almost all regions of Italy, including social cooperatives, social promotion associations, unions, etc. CNCA is an accredited body at the National Public Service Office for the implementation of projects involving the employment of young volunteers.
