The celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the creation of ‘Citta dell’Olio’, one of the most important partners of the ‘Routes of the Olive Tree’, ended Sunday, November 30th in Siena with the General Assembly of its members.
More than 100 stakeholders – experts, representatives of institutions, producers and operators of the sector from all over Italy – met to discuss the future of the olive tree sector, by participating in six working tables dedicated to the themes: tourism and gastronomic, Olive Trees Rural Landscape, Training and Education, with the aim of transforming visions, strategies and proposals into concrete opportunities for the entire production chain. Three days of work for the drafting of the 2030 Agenda for the Olive Tree Cities in Italy, a useful tool for local governments when they implement territorial marketing policies and manage political and administrative paths to enhance this important Italian culture.

The Foundation and ‘Routes of the Olive Tree’ Network participated in this important event and were represented by Mrs Margherita Bovicelli, Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
On this occasion, a meeting of network members from Italy, Tunisia, Spain and Greece took place, during which topics of common interest were discussed.
